New Category: Interviews
March 4th, 2009 | Categories: Online | 29 CommentsA while back, I remember Amanda posting some interviews she did with some of her friends in her “blogging circle.” I was thinking about this, and I think the idea of interviewing my online friends would be really interesting, because it could give me and others a chance to see a side of them that might not necessarily be seen otherwise. The questions would be aimed at getting to know the interviewee better in both online and offline life, but of course nothing overly personal will be asked. The current interview format I have in mind is that there will be ten questions, with half about online life, and the other half about offline life. There will be five standard questions that every interviewee is asked, and then five questions that are specific to that interviewee.
I have a list of people that have said they were interested but of course, I would love to interview people that read my blog too, however sporadically you might visit. If you’re interested, simply leave a comment on this post (anything ranging from “I’m interested” to “Meeee!” will suffice) and I will get in touch with you. It might take me a while to get in touch, because I have to come up with questions that fit each person first, but I will be in touch, I promise!
These interview posts will be posted on Wednesdays. I’ll try and make this a weekly thing like the rest of my posts, but since the interviews depend on me sending the questions in a timely fashion as well as getting a response in order for them to be posted weekly, it really depends on that particular week. I think that having an interview post on Wednesday whenever one is ready to post will work, and I’m hoping that this will turn out to be a regular thing! :)

I hate that this is my first comment here, but, I would enjoy doing that. ^^ I adore those sorts of things.
Of course, someone’s going to have to interview you back, at some point. Hmmmmm!
I think posting an interview on Wednesdays is a great idea — I was worried you’d post them all at the same time and it just wouldn’t be as fun to read 20 interviews in a row, lol :P

I’d be interested in getting interviewed. I’m always curious to see what questions people come up with.

Sounds interesting. =] I could be interviewed, if you’d like. Could be fun. ^_^
I’m interested! :P But I’m also totally interested in what other people say, so I’ll definitely check back for this.

Hmm…this seems like an interesting experiment. I will be watching how this develops. I may even do my own, if you don’t mind. :)

[...] These interviews started with the intention of getting to know my online friends better, and exposing a side of them that might not necessarily be apparent online. Each interviewee was asked ten questions, five of which were generic, and five of which directly applied to the specific individual. Oh, this is very interesting! I may just take a snag at this when, or IF, I ever open up a blog at my upcoming personal site.
And of course I would love to be interviewed by you! :D If you wish! I know we don’t know each other that well.
Oi, you already have a much of people, but if you plan to continue your interviews for awhile and need someone, time is now my friend so I’d be happy to participate. :)
And by “much”, I meant “bunch”. Doi. XD

I just stumbled across this site, but it sounds interesting to me and would love to be apart of it! Even if I don’t get chosen, it’s still interesting reading other’s interviews. :)
I really enjoyed reading about your interviews with these great people. If it’s still ok with you, I’d like to participate as well. :)
