[...] I registered for my fall 2009 classes successfully. I ended up opting for the three classes on Monday, one class on Tuesday option. I figure that it will be easier for me to juggle my workload with my schedule spaced out like that rather than have four classes back to back on a Monday, especially as my one class on Tuesday is a morning class so I will still have the rest of my Tuesday free for study and/or work.
My main issue with having the 4 classes in a row is that my day would start at 8:30am, and the likelihood of me getting up in time for that class and the following others isn't very high. However, my one class on Tuesday is a morning class, so I still get the rest of the day off to be productive. As for the internship, I would love to get something in the field of PR as I'm a Public Communication major.

I would go with one long day- I think having all the other days off would be more worthy, and you could be really producutive with them. How long are your classes though? I mean, 4x one hour classes wouldn't be too bad but I'd take that back if we were talking 3hour labs and stuff.

I love being busy, it's such a thrill to always have something to do. And at least life is never boring! Yours sounds like it will be really great and exciting! What sort of internship are you looking for?

Oh, I know to take it with a grain of salt. I looked up some of my professors from last semester, and all the reviews were spot on, and some of my friends have had nightmarish professors and RMP reflects that too. In my experience, it's been more hit than miss, although I know that is not always the case.

I used to hate course selection. It's WAY more complicated than it needs to be.

Though I'm sure you already know it, but I can't not say it... you have to take Rate My Prof with a grain of salt. It's usually the people who either really hate or really love profs that post there, so it's definitely very skewed. I did some peeking around just now out of curiosity, and some of the best profs I've ever had have really negative reviews on that site. I think it's mostly because they gave a crapload of work and set really high expectations for the class. But they were definitely the classes I learned the most from. So just FYI not to base decisions to heavily on it. ;)
