Every Hour on the Hour April 2009
April 30th, 2009 | Categories: Life | 3 CommentsThis past Friday, April 24, was April’s day for Every Hour on the Hour (EHOTH), a monthly event hosted/run by Vegetarian Option. Essentially, you take pictures every hour on the hour of your day to give a visual representation of what it is like a day in the life. Here are my EHOTH photos for April!

Getting dressed and ready to start the day. It’s a pretty nondescript outfit – plain black shirt with jeans. I don’t normally get dressed up or anything when going to class, but the reason for my extremely plain outfit is that all my other clothes were in the laundry, and I really wanted to wear my starry Vans (pictured above), and those shoes only work well with plain outfits! My body also looks a little disproportionate in that photo for some reason…

Chinese, my first class of the day! Here is a photo of part of the blackboard. We were reviewing sentence structures and some of the grammar we have learned this semester.

After Chinese and a quick lunch, I had a shift at work. Here is the giant photocopier I use on a regular basis to make photocopies and scan documents.

French! My second and last class of the day. Here is a photo of the blackboard. This was taken before class began, as we watched L’Auberge Espagnole and I couldn’t take a photo of the projector screen.

After my classes ended, I made arrangements to meet my friends in the city for dinner. Here I am waiting at the bus stop.

Dinner was at Whole Foods. I LOVE the pizza they have, and their soup is also very, very good.

After dinner, my friends and I had some time to kill before we had to meet a tour guide for a Ghost Tour of DC. So, we roamed around the city for a little bit.

Decatur House, one of the sites that was on the Ghost Tour. The ghost of Stephen Decatur is said to haunt this building.

The Old Executive Office Building, which is right across the street from Blair House, where all of the foreign diplomats stay when visiting the White House. It was another building visited on the tour.

Outside the White House, which we passed while on tour. My phone was dying as I took this picture, hence the extreme blurriness and bending of all the lights, so that’s the end of my EHOTH photos for this month.

I was really waiting for your EHOTH post! It’s nice to see you finally posted it. :D
Your classrooms look very neat. Ours tend to be messy most of the time. And wow, a Ghost Tour of DC! I’ve always loved ghost stories so I’d be really excited if they also did ghost tours like that here.
Your blurred White House photo will make a good light texture. Hehe. :P
Ooo, I ghost tour! That sounds really neat. :D DC sounds like a really interesting place to visit!
And that is one MASSIVE photocopier! haha
[...] in DC was President Obama’s Inauguration, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the DC Ghost Tour. Every city has something to offer, so go and see what’s there for you to experience! [...]
