X-Men Origins: Wolverine

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Summary: A prequel to the X-Men trilogy into the life of Wolverine/James Logan (Hugh Jackman) before his life as one of the X-Men.

5 Words/Phrases: Fantastic cast, lots of special effects, loads of action, interesting Wolverine backstory, cool range of mutant powers

Most Impressed By: Hugh Jackman’s fantastic performance as Wolverine; the character of Gambit/Remy LeBeau (Taylor Kitsch) – can there be an X-Men Origins: Gambit, please?!; Liev Schreiber’s performance as Sabertooth/Victor Creed

Least Impressed By: Silverfox/Kayla (Lynn Collins) really, really didn’t do anything for me. Like, at all.

Overall Rating: 8/10

Ah, Gambit was my favourite X-Man. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I will–I need to see if they’ve done justice to the character!
