Every Hour on the Hour May 2009
May 28th, 2009 | Categories: Life | 9 CommentsThis past Saturday, May 23, was May’s day for Every Hour on the Hour (EHOTH), a monthly event hosted/run by Vegetarian Option. Essentially, you take pictures every hour on the hour of your day to give a visual representation of what it is like a day in the life. Here are my EHOTH photos for May!

First thing of the day is to brush my teeth and wash my face, of course. I use the Proactiv line for my facial cleansing, Clinique’s moisture surge for my facial moisturizer, and Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula for my body moisturizer, in case anyone was wondering.

I was answering a LiveJournal association meme. The way the association meme works is that I would ask members of my friends list for five terms/phrases they would associate with me, and then I would have to elaborate on those five things. This is a screenshot of me answering some of the terms (there were forty in total, so this kept me occupied for a while!)

Lunch! I didn’t want to bother with anything fancy, so I made a very, very simple dish. Here is pasta with Parmesan cheese and garlic, along with a glass of apple juice.

I had to do the dishes after making lunch, of course, so here is the stack of pots and pans I washed.

I continue working on one of my many craft projects. This particular one is one of my knitting projects; I’m sewing up the seam as I finished knitting and stuffing it. Consider this a sneak peek, one of my Etsy entries will talk about this project in more detail and with better photos!

After dinner (which I completely forgot to take photos of, oops) I watch the movie Cars, which was airing on the Disney Channel. I had never seen Cars before, but I quite liked it!

As I am watching Cars, I continue working on my constellation cross stitch. I’ve made a lot of progress, but I still have a very long ways to go before I’m even close to finishing it!

I spend some time with my dog, who was not quite happy with me for disturbing her lounging about on the couch!

Time for some reading. I’m currently reading Sarah Dessen’s novel That Summer as part of my self-assigned summer reading, which is very good but it’s not one of my favorites by her.

And to finish the day, I wrote in my Embodiment journal. All in all, a very uneventful day, but it was quite a nice day nonetheless!

I want to do something like this! I might just have to one time. I love your journal, and Sarah Dessen is one of my favorite authors. I own all of her books!
That is such an awesome idea! I should really do that myself one day…it would interesting just for myself to see exactly what I do to waste so much time every day, lol. But it was really neat to see your photos – your cross-stitch looks really cool and your dog is so cute! :)
I’m not a massive fan of Cars. Every other Pixar movie is just brilliant and worshipable (is that a word?) but I’ve only been able to sit through Cars once, and that was at the third attempt. I just didn’t find it funny, and not even the animation made up for that. =/
Really like this every-hour-on-the-hour thing. Might try it some time. ^_^
Yaay for EHOTH! :D Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to participate this time around but hopefully next month, I’ll be able to.
Anyway, your dog is so cute! Seeing you cross-stitching made me want to go do it again. It’s been a long time already. The last time I’ve done some cross-stitching was way back in grade school! I definitely miss it. And I’m definitely in love with your Hello Kitty journal! Hehe. :P
[...] In May’s Every Hour on the Hour post, one of my photos that represented an hour of my day was that of me sewing the seam for one of my current craft projects. I was making a knitted cupcake with a removable cake case! I purchased the pattern from Cakes Knits and Cosies at Etsy1, and I’ve been experimenting with different colors for the cake cases, as well as different icings and decoration for each cupcake! This is a VERY cool idea! I’d love to do it on a day where I’m not at work, but still have stuff to do. :P
