5 Words/Phrases: Stunning animation; great montage in the beginning of the film; good backstory and character development for both Carl and Russell; lovable side characters; creepy evil villain
Most Impressed By: The lovable character of Russell; the development of Carl’s character; the extensiveness of the interior of Charles Muntz’s (Christopher Plummer) blimp; the vividness of the environment in South America

I loved this movie so much, for basically all the things you listed. I loved how bittersweet it was. I usually don’t watch the animated “kid” movies, but I think Pixar’s always done a great job.

I’ve been hearing such good things about Up – I don’t like to see animated films in theaters but I am so tempted to see this one!

I’d love to see this film. I love Wall-E on so many levels and it will be good to see what comes next. It won’t be here until late July though, boo!
And I have respect for Pixar for producing a film that features an old man and an overweight boy instead of the usual ‘cute’ characters. They have shown a lot of depth and thoughtfulness in my opinion, and are a lot more serious than most live action film makers.
