Every Hour on the Hour June 2009
June 18th, 2009 | Categories: Life | 4 CommentsThis past Thursday, June 11, was June’s day for Every Hour on the Hour (EHOTH). Essentially, you take pictures every hour on the hour of your day to give a visual representation of what it is like a day in the life. Here are my EHOTH photos for June!

I went out for a drive in the morning, as well as to run some errands. It was a gloomy, dreary day, as you can tell by the view out the car window!

I went to my local Jo-Ann Fabrics store to pick out some material for a bag I would like to make. There was so much to choose from! I had a hard time picking out what fabrics I wanted, but it was easier once I settled on one I wanted and found others to match it (I needed three different, but coordinating, colors).

I have an old bed sheet I’ve been wanting to turn into a skirt for a while, so I worked on that. I’m sewing up the hem of the skirt.

I was working on adding the elastic into the hem. You can see one of my knitted cupcakes and how I’m using it as a pincushion as I work on finishing the skirt band!

Time for a snack in the form of Snapple Green Tea. Mmmmm, so good!

I had dinner plans, so this is the bag I used when I went out. My aunt gave it to me last summer when we were in Suzhou, China. I love the beadwork and the colors!

I didn’t take any pictures while I was out, so these are the black flats I wore when I went out to dinner by my front door, to signify me returning home for the night.

Getting ready for bed, as usual. Observant readers will notice that my skincare range has changed a little compared to the photo in May’s post.

Some reading before bed. Currently I’m reading Mistress Anne by Carolly Erickson, a biography of Anne Boleyn, second of Henry VIII’s six wives and mother of Elizabeth I. She’s my favorite historical figure ever, and the biography is quite good so far.

And… time for bed! My dog, clearly, is more than ready to go to sleep for the night.

Random comment is random, but I have the same flats, but in red. :D They’re too small, now, though. :(
Your dog is adorable! *wants*
Holy crap Manda, you’re really good at sewing! :O Whoa!
The first time I heard and saw this concept elsewhere I wondered what the point was, but your photos and text are a great read!
I’ll have to note that biography down, I’ve read a book on all six wives but not found any per wife.
[...] skirt in around half an hour. It was exactly what I was looking for, and as you can see in my June Every Hour on the Hour post, I set about making my skirt. After some measuring, cutting, lots of hemming, and more measuring, [...]
