Pothole

Chicagoan roads are infamous for awful, horrible potholes. This particular one was so bad they had to fence off the area around it as a safety precaution. Potholes are never good to drive on cause they can take out your tire, but when the pothole is big and deep enough to store a kitchen sink inside it, there’s a serious problem!

Wow. I thought Boston was bad. We have nothing on your potholes. That’s scary!

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pothole that big. I’m moving to Chicago this fall for college, but I won’t be driving, so potholes won’t be a problem for me :p

That reminds me of Quebec. People who don’t live there laugh at them because their roads are AWFUL. I’ve seen potholes that big there. D:

Last summer we were at my cottage in Quebec, and they were resurfacing this tiny road that gets driven on by about 50 cars a year… and of course they completely ignore the highways that are regularly used.

And I thought our roads in NS were bad too! We’ve got chunks out of the road every two meters, but at least it’s nothing that deep!

Reminds me of the wonderful potholes we had back home. One of the roads leading to my mother’s house was constantly getting fixed because of the insane amount of potholes that appeared. Everyone always knew to go 10mph on that road because of the potholes. Geez.

That is one hell of a pothole! If that was here it’d be fixed asap. Boo Chicago. How come these potholes happen?

Wow…my mom always freaks out when she sees a small dip in the road.

“TRISHAAA!!!111!!! Watch out omfg!!!”

Yeah, that’s what my “driving lessons” are like. >.>

Man that’s a nasty pothole. Gees! There’s a certain side of town where I’m living that is notorious for all of the potholes. I hate driving over there.

Ouch! We have a lot of potholes around here usually in the wintertime. They are nasty. I feel like on certain roads my tires are just going to fall off!
