I got a manicure for the first time last week. While this photo is atrocious (sorry about that), it’s as good enough evidence as any that yes, I actually went to a salon and got my nails done. I wasn’t so sure about the color at first, since the particular shade of sapphire I chose is quite dark and looks black in dim lighting, but it’s really grown on me over the week. It’s quite nice having nicely painted nails – I honestly can’t remember the last time I had them!

Aw, that looks so nice! :) Hopefully it lasts a very long time and you can show off your pretty nails. That’s a really interesting color, too. It looks great on nails, but I would never have thought to pick it myself!
