I hear you! On my flight from Shanghai to NY last year, I had to deal with a delay, a broken lavatory and misplaced luggage, just like you. Traveling can be quite the bitch. :(

Anythewho! Sounds like you had a right bout of bad luck there! I swear, even time I fly, it’s like I’ve just walked under a ladder and crossed the path of 20 black cats, because EVERYTHING goes wrong. I’m always the one who gets the random ‘pat down’ at security, they always change my gate AFTER my ticket’s been printed and I’m scrambling all over the place… Ah, the joys of travel. :P

Wow that really sucks. well at least you made it? And you can’t expect to know EVERYTHING that could go down at an airport. There are so many weird things that have happened to delay my flights, I can’t even begin to say how normal your plane’s issue was.

See, I love flying – for what I need, it’s the most efficient way of travel, and overall, it’s incredibly safe. It just so happened that yesterday, it was NOT my day to travel :P Could have been worse – my flight could have been canceled or I could have missed a connecting flight due to the delay (not that I had a connecting flight, but it’s happened before).

I haaate airplane travel. Like, as if my irrational phobia wasn’t bad enough, I hear all these horror stories that make me never want to fly again. Ever. (Too bad I have plans to go to London for the 2012 Olympics… maybe I’ll just swim! :D)

So, yep, makes me happy that I plan on going to university in a city that’s a 6-hour train ride away.

That’s a crazy amount of bad luck! I always seem to find that travelling either goes perfectly or absolutely everything goes wrong – isn’t it weird?!

This is exactly the reason why I hate travelling to places with public transport. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll do it, I just prefer to go by bike when possible! :D
The exception being when I travel in the weekends, because then I get to travel for free with my student bus/train pass. Can’t very well complain if it’s free :P

Wow, what a mess. Lots of things like this can go wrong when traveling. That’s one of the reasons I wouldn’t want to travel.
