She looks absolutely terrible now. I never like her but at least she used to be quite pretty. She is the less annoying one of Speidi, but it really isn’t saying much. I think she loves the attention so much that she would do anything to stay in the business. It is very sad.

She looks so pretty in the photo of her before, and after that she just looks like your bog-standard model, and not very good-looking at that. I don’t think I’d understand her mentality if I tried.

Somehow, I don’t think she will be, although I hope that she finds her plastic surgeries worthwhile too :/ The way I see her (and I could be wrong) is that she’s insecure and unsure of who she is. Until she develops self-confidence and becomes self-assertive, she’s never going to be happy because she won’t ever be comfortable in her own skin. And obviously, plastic surgery isn’t going to give her those skills.

It is so disturbing how different she looks now ><. She looked perfectly fine before all those procedures and now she's going to be the new Cat Woman who had a gazillion plastic surgeries herself.

Heidi Montag reminds me of this artist a few decades ago now, called Orlan. She studied the portraits of women that were considered beautiful in art history, and performed cosmetic surgery on her face — she ended up with her nose modeled after Gerome’s psyche, her chin after Boteccilli’s Venus, and a forehead after da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, amongst other things. And in the end I think it demonstrated that such perfection was not beautiful but rather monstrous. Of course, she was also criticizing what was to come in the future, which Heidi Montag seems to embody to the brim!

She’s a reality star from the MTV show The Hills and is one half of the celebrity couple “Speidi” with Spencer Pratt. She’s pretty far off my radar too but coverage of her plastic surgeries – 10+ procedures at age 23! – was pretty widespread yesterday, which prompted me to blog about it. As far as I can tell, she’s famous for being vapid, fame hungry, and incredibly obnoxious and shameless in her and her husband’s quest for everlasting fame. So basically, she’s famous for being “famous.” Like the world needs more of those people…

I don’t understand the point.. Sure if she had a hideous nose or something or a giant ugly scar.. But she was a pretty girl already. And she wasn’t far of from being a barbie doll in the first place!

I find Heidi hilarious, I cannot take anything she does seriously. Watching the Hills it’s fun to point out the points where she has had more plastic surgery. She used to be so pretty, and now, she’s just someone else.
