I’m don’t have a lot of USA spirit (I support China primarily) or even sports spirit but it doesn’t even matter to me which countries are competing or which athletes are competing in which sport – it’s the spirit of the games I love. I’m so jealous your family gets to go!! Although I think it’s safe to guess you aren’t ;D

Whenever I start watching, I can’t tear myself away for a few hours. Homework isn’t really a priority :P I haven’t been watching very much, though.

I haven’t been doing homework either (like, even less than usual), and some of my teachers are okay with it.

Obviously my favourite moment was Alex’s gold because it’s a historical moment for us AND he is super super adorable AND his story is so sweet, but there have been a lot of good moments!

Plushenko didn’t win gold, yay! I usually don’t root for Americans, but Lycacek totally deserved that. I’m just sad Johnny Weir didn’t do better – I love him.

I’m kind of at a state of hatred towards the Olympics. My family is going (they leave tomorrow) and ALL they’ve been taking about the past 3 months is Olympics this, Olympics that… it’s driving me insane! I’ll be so glad when they leave and I can just *be* without having the television on constantly. I guess I have very poor Team Canada spirit. But I’m not really a sports fan to begin with either. I like hockey but I don’t go out of my way to watch it or obsess, you know?

Anyway, this is turning into a mini-rant. So enjoy your procrastination tool while it lasts. ;D

Alex’s gold has to have been my favorite so far. Definitely. And then Lindsey Vonn’s. Because, you know, being happy for the USA is good :D

But it’s all so awesome! Totally inspiring, so much work and motivation. I wish I had that kind of determination and talent.

hehe, I’m not break. It’s not affecting my homework at all :)
