I absolutely agree that this has got to be Sandra Bullock’s best performance yet. I saw The Blind Side last December and I thought the movie was really heartwarming. I really adore Sandra and it’s refreshing to see her star in a movie that really showcases her acting talent and is not in her usual romantic-comedy genre. :)
Alice
I really want to see this film, Sandra Bullock is one of my most favourite people ever! (and the plot looks interesting)

I’ve been meaning to see this movie for a while now. Everyone has told me that it’s an amazing movie, and quite the tear jerker. I think Sandra Bullock has always been a great actress, and there hasn’t been a movie of hers that I haven’t liked yet. If this is her finest performance yet, then I most definitely have to see it!

Okay weird, I just saw this last night! We must have been on the same brainwave, re: movie choices. ;D
Anyhow, I also really liked it. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all, so I’m really glad I ended up watching it (because by the way it was advertised, it didn’t seem like something I’d like).
Manda
I think this is the second time this has happened with our movie choices! Didn’t this happen with Milk about a year ago?
Caity
Ooh good I’m glad to hear this was so good. I want to see it. :)
Kaylee
I’m pretty sure I’m going to see this just because it’s sports-related. The great acting will just be a bonus ;)
Melody
I have wanted to see this since I worked on the trailer. SJ = ADORABLE AND SHOULD HAVE A SPIN OFF MOVIE – what I got from the trailer alone. :D
I don’t like the ad campaign, it’s got some weird white guilt vibe going on there, so I am very glad to hear that it’s not what the movie is!
Sandra’s performance is also what I look forward to, read her interview on Newsweek and she just seems like an amazing person.
Manda
I actually didn’t want to see the movie at all because of the white guilt vibe you mentioned in the ad campaign. I was persuaded to see it against my better judgment and I’m really glad I saw it because that’s really not what the movie is about at all! I really don’t think the ad campaign correctly addressed the movie at all.
Crissy
I meant to see this movie, because I heard it was great. But I agree with what’s already been said, the ads/commercials bothered me. Just gave a weird, cliche feel. But I’m glad to hear it’s worth seeing ;)
Zoya
Glad to see this movie got a good review, I am really looking forward to seeing it!!
