It’d be nice if you could be with your friends but for something important as this I agree with everyone else that it’s your decision. I think it’s a bit off that the first two are asking you to join them but are only staying for one semester, in a way it’d be better for you (if you wanted to stay with friends) to join with 3 because you’ll be sharing the experience longer.

Haha, my guess was nowhere close to this. Although I do like Krissy’s ideas of llamas.

Anyways, I think you should ultimately do what you find yourself more comfortable doing, and what you think will be the most beneficial to your studies – that’s what counts above everything else in the end, regardless of what these boys are doing.

Hm, like Crissy said, you have the ultimate say in what you do. I personally don’t think their opinions should sway you in any direction, and that you should do what YOU want to do. I hope you figure something out without ruining any friendships!

(I feel like I’m always the first to comment, and feel totally creepy about that-sorry?)

This is obviously just my opinion, but I think you’re on the right track. You have the ultimate say in what you do. I know that when I’ve been faced with similar situations (at a smaller level), I’ve tended to go for what the majority tells me. This has left me only with regret and frustration. For instance, my friend and I were supposed to take Child Development next year. She convinced me it was a soft course, and i’m doubling on languages. While I like languages, I already regret acting like a puppet and nodding my head at everything they say. EVERYTHING. So, that mini rant is just to say that you should isolate yourself for a minute and think about what YOU want. It’ll be hard to say no to anyone, but better for you.

Also, I don’t know how serious any of these boys were, but all three seem INCREDIBLY unfair. I understand feel protective and jealous of a friend, but boy 3 especially seems really inconsiderate to just leave you there. I can’t imagine how awful you must have felt. I am so weak when it comes to those confrontational situations, I would seriously have cried in front of everyone. :(

I’m really sorry this has turned into such a big deal, good luck with it all and making up your mind. I hope none of your friends get/stay mad :(
