I’m an Awesome Big Sister

My brother is taking the SATs for the first time today, so I baked these chocolate chip cookies for him as my way of saying good luck. How many other big sisters do you know that perform such acts of kindness for their younger brother?

I know he will do fine; in fact, I’m pretty sure he’ll get a higher score than I did on my SATs (his ACT scores are already higher than mine were!). Still, I wanted to do a little extra something for him as my way of wishing him luck. It was either bake him his favorite cookies or get up at the crack of dawn to wish him luck when he left to take the test. I might be an awesome big sister, but I’m not willing to forgo sleep in my pursuit of sisterly awesomeness!

Will you be my big sister? :P Even though technically you would be my little big sister… XD

Oooh, yummy!
I would have loved to have you as a big sister, Manda. (:
(So would my little sister, haha. I don’t think I’ve ever baked her cookies. Better get on that.)
I hope your brother does well on the SATs!

You are a pretty awesome big sister. I have never done anything nice like that for my little brother. But he doesn’t so anything for me either so I think we’re even lol.

Aww, we are both awesome big sisters! :D

I wouldn’t wake up early either. :P

Those look delicious! It’d be super great if you were my big sister… it’s okay that we alllmost have the same name and we’ll get confused in the same household… tehe.

But seriously, you must be an awesome sister. I did bake cookies once for my sister (in fact they look just like those) the night before a golf tournament of hers, so she could have yummy snacks. Those are plain ol’ choc chip, right? :)

Yep, they’re ordinary chocolate chip!

Manda, just to let you know you’re being adopted so you can do this for me hahaha

They look much better than the cookies I baked ;D

Not a single cookie was porous. ;D

If I made cookies for my little brother, I would probably end up eating most of them myself. :P

I’d way rather bake than wake up early! But you are indeed a great big sister :)

Those definitely look like some you-are-going-to-ace-your-SATs cookies! Good luck to your brother! You’re such a nice sister!

That is an awesome thing to do. Best of luck to your brother! Maybe when the exams gets tough he can remember the cookies and your good wishes :)
