34.

That’s how old Wii Fit told me I was.

That is fifteen years older than I actually am! My goodness, I am not that unhealthy! (I hope.) Sure, my exercise regimen is laughable (that is, it would be if it existed… unless the crazy amounts of walking I do every day going from my dorm to class to work to my internship count) and my diet is that of the standard broke college kid variety (read: awful). But hey, I’m making an effort! Doesn’t that count for something?

Just wait, Wii Fit. I’m going to get my Wii Fit age down to my proper one. It might take a little time, but it’s going to happen!

About twenty minutes ago it told me I was 38, which I have to admit made me laugh like a crazy person!

How does it evaluate what your age is? I’m curious. (I don’t have a Wii, so I have no idea how that stuff works.)

It takes in your real age, height, weight, BMI (according to Wii Fit, my BMI is in the “healthy” range), plus a series of balance/memory tests. I think it’s those tests that did me in, because I couldn’t figure out how one of the balance ones worked and then I wasn’t paying attention when it explained how to do the memory test so I got my answers all wrong for that one, too :P

Practice a bit and I promise it will be more accurate! The first time I did it it said I was somewhere in my late 30s, but once you get the hang of it, it’s more accurate. It’s hard at first because you truly have no idea what to do with some of those balance exercises. :P Once you understand how to actually do them, you won’t be 34.

I don’t even want to think about what age I would be. :/
I really want to get the Wii fit soon, though. I heard it’s great for exercise.

Good luck with the Wii Fit. I’m sure you can change it around. You were probably just having a bad day. The age can change very easily.

Eep! Good luck with your Wii fit! My family loves it and I wish I had one! :P

What Clem said sounds about right – but I’ve never come close to using a Wii before! It would make me feel so uncomfortable to hear it guess my age wrong. :/

one day it told me I was 18 and the next I was 46 {I’m 31}…at least it kicked my butt into gear :)
