My thoughts on tonight’s Glee premiere:

  • Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith), I want to have your babies. When he sang The Doors’ “Hello, I Love You” I was almost beside myself. I AM SO GLAD FINN/CORY IS BACK ON MY TV SCREEN.
  • The duet between Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) took my breath away. Absolutely fantastic.
  • I am so glad to see Idina Menzel guest star as the coach of Vocal Adrenaline! Now, if only Glee brought back April Rhodes (Kristin Chenoweth) so that Kristin and Idina could be reunited…
  • Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), I wish I could be half as fierce as you.
  • Terri Schuester (Jessalyn Gilsig) still terrifies me as much as she did in the first 13 episodes. That woman is an insane amount of crazy.

That is all.

Ok. We agree to disagree, no? ;)

It’s funny you mentioned Terri. One thing that bothers me about Glee is the prominent Ryan Murphy dramatic style – it has a totally different premise, but it reminds me of Nip/Tuck here and there (apart from the music, of course). The actress who plays Terri was in Nip/Tuck, and I was really hoping to see her playing someone who isn’t a messed up lying bitch.

I know you love Cory, but I think he definitely needs to improve his singing so that it’s on par with the rest of the cast!

On a side note, I think Glee is now timeslot enemy with Lost. It will be interesting to see how that all turns out.

I don’t know anything about Ryan Murphy’s style as I’ve never seen his work before. But I did like Terri’s hair in the episode :P

I adore Cory to no bounds but I do agree that his voice is the weakest of the group. I really loved his rendition of “Hello, I Love You,” though. I think his voice is suited to that style far more than the “lighter” stuff Glee usually does.

I LOVED that episode! Kristin is supposed to come back so maybe they will be reunited!!!
