Food I Wish I Could Find in China

(Or find at an affordable price. Or in a form that remotely resembles what I can find back home.)

  • Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits
  • Doritos
  • Kraft Mac and Cheese
  • Parmesan (or pecorino romano) cheese
  • Bagels
  • Cream cheese
  • Pesto pasta
  • Blueberry muffins
  • Cheetos
  • Pop tarts
  • Chipotle
  • Red velvet cake

This list could go on for quite a bit but now I’m getting cravings for foods I won’t be able to have till I return Stateside in July/August. Sigh.

    No blueberry muffins? Travesty! :P

That’s basically my entire diet right up there, so I’m pretty sure I’d starve, haha.

I don’t think I could live without Kraft Macaroni &
Cheese or Red Velvet Cake! D:

I don’t think I could live without Chipotle :( I heard that they have something similar there, but it’s not as good?

Hey, I lived in Shanghai and went to international school there for 3 years, I definitely found kraft mac & cheese, doritos, and such pretty easily (well not the cake and baked items…). usually you just need to find the international places? Also chinese doritos and cheetos are kinda strange, but eh, they’re okay.

See the first note – “at an affordable price.” I’ve found stuff like Doritos in the imported section at Carrefour, but I’m not going to pay a (relative) fortune for a bag of chips!
