My brother lives in Hawaii, the land of tropical paradise. I live in DC, which, for all of its perks, would never be described as having ideal weather. He loves reminding me of this, especially in the bleary winter months.
Brother: It’s so cold…
Me: No. Stop. Don’t even start. It might SNOW in DC tomorrow.
Brother: I slept with a blanket on.
Me: I slept in a sweatshirt. With the heater on. Under a comforter.
Brother: I had to put pants on today.
What a hard life he leads, having to wear pants in Hawaii…

Your brother does what I’d feel like I’d do ahah. But I do know how it feels from your point of view too
I moved from a warmer place in CA to a colder place (at least in the winter) and I’m always laughing at my friends from back home complaining about how it’s so cold there and it’s always 20deg warmer.
I complain about the cold, but I honestly like it. I would go crazy if I lived somewhere that was always warm. So DC Weather > Hawaii Weather for me.
I used to prefer cold but as I’ve gotten older I now prefer warm weather! Currently though, what bums me out the most about DC weather is that it’s just been so gloomy this winter. it seems as though it is constantly overcast and drizzly and foggy, and I miss seeing the sun!
LOL. Your brother’s hilarious!
I could write a whole book about my brother and his smartass comments
*sigh*
