Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service. For $10/month, members get deluxe samples and full-sized products along with a tote bag to keep all the items in. Each month’s tote design depends on that month’s theme.

I’ve always been fascinated by these mascara cards but have never tried them! I hate it when I smudge mascara up near my browbone because I’ve glanced upwards before my mascara dries. These cards should be able to prevent that from happening, so I’m quite happy. - Pop Beauty: Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara

I’ve heard good things about Pop Beauty’s mascaras but have never tried them. I love volumizing mascaras, so I have high hopes for this one. - MicaBeauty: Gel Eyeliner

I heard a rumor that my favorite Physicians Formula gel eyeliners might be discontinued (no! please don’t!) so I am in the market for a new HG gel eyeliner. I got this one in blackest black, but if it turns out to be a keeper I’ll be investing in the other colors MicaBeauty has. - Pixi: Flawless & Poreless Face Primer

I’m also in the market for a new face primer, so it’s like Ipsy knew what I needed with this month’s bag! I’ve heard good things about Pixi and it’s sold at Target, which is super convenient. I do prefer a poreless primer, so I’m looking forward to testing this out. - Coastal Scents: Shadow Palette Sample
Coastal Scents Shadow Palette Samples are an ideal way to try these highly pigmented, stunning shadows. These miniature-sized samples contain four hand-selected shades by ipsy, making it easy to create a variety of looks. Wear these pressed powders dry or wet for a more intense, dramatic look.
I like Coastal Scents eyeshadows but I hate how they package their samples. Once I open the sample, there’s no way for me to really “keep” the eyeshadows as they don’t come in proper packaging. Ipsy teamed up with Coastal Scents in October for another sample eyeshadow palette, but I ended up throwing that palette out as I accidentally crushed one of the eyeshadows and couldn’t keep using it!
I really want to get an Ipsy subscription! But I don’t have a job right now, so that’s a no. The deluxe samples that you got this month are fab! I want the lash card! I saw it being used in Promise’s Beyonce video, if you’ve seen that lol. c:
