Thank you for the lovely birthday wishes, everyone! I had a great day with coworkers and friends. Plus, I spent some quality time on the phone/Skype with my family and G. What more can a girl ask for?
Project Clean My Apartment is coming along, for those who are curious. Last weekend I focused more on reorganizing/rearranging and I got sidetracked by someone setting off the fire alarm in my building, causing an evacuation. (People really need to learn to not set things near their stoves that shouldn’t be near a stove.) This weekend, I’m focusing on the cleaning and finishing hanging up my photos. (I came across a few unframed photos which resulted into a Target run yesterday!) It’s all getting there but it’s going to take some time, mainly because I’m cleaning as I continue my Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon. Ahem.
But once that’s all done, I’m going to implement Amanda’s suggestion of the 15 minute clean-up rule, where I clean up a little bit every day for 15 minutes. Keeps the place consistently clean and saves me from slaving away for a whole day to achieve the same goal!
