Regular readers know how I think subscription boxes are the best thing since sliced bread. So when Wantable offered me the opportunity to try out a box, I jumped at the chance.
Wantable offers three types of boxes: makeup, accessories and intimates. Since I already have more makeup than I’ll probably be able to use up in this lifetime and intimates wasn’t an option at the time I received a box, I chose an accessories box to try out. Once I picked what kind of box I wanted, I took an extensive quiz to determine my preferences. By extensive, I mean e-x-t-e-n-s-i-v-e. I was asked about what type of jewelry, what style, what materials, what finishes, how I defined my overall sense of personal style, etc. With such a thorough quiz, I was fairly confident that my Wantable jewelry would be exactly what I like.
I was right! I got four pieces of jewelry: a tribal necklace, a leaf ring (goes on two fingers), dangly earrings and an infinity bracelet.
All of the jewelry I was sent is either exactly my personal style or something I’ve always wanted to try out but could never justify buying/was afraid of branching out in case I didn’t like it. (I had the latter in mind when I was filling out the style survey.) I like how there was a good mix of necklaces/bracelets/rings, as I wear all three.
Wantable breaks down to $40 a box, or $36 per month if you get a subscription. The contents of each box is guaranteed to be at least $80, so it’s a great value. Since you can also buy individual boxes, I can see this being a great gift idea.
Currently, Wantable is partnering with Outblush for a three-month subscription giveaway. If you’re interested in entering, click here! And if you sign up for any type of Wantable box, I’d love to hear what you think of it!
