After I finished brushing my teeth last night, I decided to examine the one of my wisdom teeth on my lower jaw. The gum area has been feeling a little tender, so I wanted to make sure everything was okay because I am deathly afraid of getting pericoronitis again.
Well, the gum area looked fine, but I noticed the tiniest of black marks on one of the fissures/crevices on the top surface of the tooth. I rinsed my mouth out with Listerine. (It was still there.) I brushed my teeth again. (It was still there.) I gently went over the surface of my tooth with my toothbrush to see if the black mark was a small seed stuck in the crevice, or if it was a sign of something far more dire. (It was still there.)
I have come to the conclusion that this black mark on my tooth just might be a cavity. I know nothing about cavities as I’ve always taken excellent care of my teeth, but this is the only conclusion I can come up with. I’m hoping there is another conclusion that can be drawn, seeing as I have no dental expertise and I’m jumping to the worst conclusion as usual, but I’m starting to get freaked. The tooth doesn’t hurt (yet), but… what if the black mark is a sign of a cavity? What if my tooth starts rotting away and it has to get yanked? What if my other teeth also have cavities but I can’t tell? What if all the teeth in my mouth are going to start decaying, one by one?
I DON’T WANT A CAVITY!!!

34.
That’s how old Wii Fit told me I was.
That is fifteen years older than I actually am! My goodness, I am not that unhealthy! (I hope.) Sure, my exercise regimen is laughable (that is, it would be if it existed… unless the crazy amounts of walking I do every day going from my dorm to class to work to my internship count) and my diet is that of the standard broke college kid variety (read: awful). But hey, I’m making an effort! Doesn’t that count for something?
Just wait, Wii Fit. I’m going to get my Wii Fit age down to my proper one. It might take a little time, but it’s going to happen!

I usually get a bottle of Lipton’s Iced Green Tea with Citrus whenever I have to buy lunch on a day that I intern. However, while I was halfway through the bottle the other day at my internship, my eye fell upon the nutritional information on the back of the bottle and I almost choked on my tea.
These are the nutritional facts that Lipton outlines for the Iced Green Tea with Citrus on their website:
Serving Size: 8 fl oz
Servings per 20 fl oz container: 2.5
Amount Per Serving
Calories 80
Total Fat 0g
Sodium 70mg
Total Carbohydrate 21g
Sugars 21g
Protein 0g
If there are 21g of sugar in one serving size of 8 fl oz and one bottle is 2.5 serving sizes… that means for every bottle of Iced Green Tea with Citrus I drink, I am drinking about 53g of sugar! My God, no wonder I have been noticing a slight weight gain recently.
I am most definitely bringing a water bottle to work now. I can always treat myself to bottled sugary drinks in the future, but I am not going to drink them regularly anymore. So long, Lipton Iced Green Tea with Citrus!
