When I first heard that Tim Burton would be doing a movie based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, words could not express my excitement. They still can’t, really. Burton’s unique take is perfect for the story of Alice and her adventures, and the cast for this film is fantastic. Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar, Stephen Fry as the Chesire Cat… I’m also excited to see what newcomer Mia Wasikowska will bring to the role of Alice.

When the first photos of Burton’s vision for the characters and sets were released, I was beside myself with glee over how amazing everything looked. If there is still any doubt as to how this film will turn out, the photos speak for themselves. I’ve never done a picspam¹ or anything before, but here goes:
